So for the most part this is what I bought from Bernard last weekend minus the front bumper. This is the Aggressive Origin Kit; I just bought the sides and rear bumper since he only had it for the kouki S14. Imma stick to my stock bumper for now but later I plan on getting the stream front bumper because the Aggressive front bumper is just too aggressive. Look at the mouth of that thing. The sides and rear are already aggressive enough.

Can you imagine those bulky pieces fitting into a little Corrolla? It’s possible. As for the kit itself, it seems to be made out of quality fiberglass. Although the molding and fiberglass is smooth, there are some parts I will have to sand because maybe Origin forgot a spot or two. The fitment is okay, it needs some work. I had Bomex side skirts and I feel the Bomex slapped right on with ease compared to the Origin. But, I’ll find out more when I really do put on the kit. Since my car is dumped the kit sit really low to the earth. But, it’ll change when I put on my D-Specs. Maybe I’ll drop her even more. Hah. We’ll see how it works out and I will have a more in depth review of this kit. Til then, enjoy!

So Viv and I made a bet on who would win in Street Fighter 4 and the winner gets a 20 minute massage. Well this bet did not go as planned. She picked Chun Li and I picked Abel. I’m new to this character but I have an idea on how to use him. As the match proceed, it became a see-saw match. In the end, Viv was able to win it all in the final round. I had to give her a massage, but in the end we were both winners cuz I got a massage too. Yea!!

If you’re a geek like me, you probably followed the HD optical format war, from 2006-2008. In regular English terms, that means the war on which would replace DVD’s as our medium for movies. I was all for HD DVD for many reasons. It was ahead of Blu-ray in terms of their online connectivity, implementing HD audio to their players, price, navigation, Reon chip for best up-converting (HD-XA2 model) just to name some examples. Since the end of the HD format war Blu-ray has reigned supreme. Toshiba has not released anything HD for movies since. They did release their xDE-500 up-converting player, which is the best up-converter on the market but it’s not HD. But we may be receiving a new HD player from Toshiba by the end of the year if reports from Engadget is right. Toshiba has been hinting that entering in the Blu-ray market may be an option but, it is not a priority. Well according to Engadget, we may see their very first Blu-ray hopefully by Christmas of this year. This is pretty exciting since Toshiba goes all out on their products and the longevity of their products are outstanding. If you owned a HD DVD player you know what they are capable of creating. I feel their quality and performance was unmatched. Whatever HD DVD was back in 2007, is what Blu-ray is right now minus Netflix and Pandora options. The BD Live (2.0), HD audio, Toshiba had that in their HD DVD players back then. I have been tempted in getting another Blu-ray player, but Imma hold off. I know what I want for Christmas.

Today Viv and I decided to spend the day shopping for new clothes and shoes. We started at Las Americas Outlet here in San Ysidro. There were a pair of Jumpman shoes that looked tempting, but I decided to pass. We made our rounds around the outlet but nothing really caught our eye. Then we went over to Pacific Beach to check out the different botiques. I found two Express shirts at Buffalo Exchange. Unfortunately, Viv didn’t find anything she liked.

After Pacific Beach, I get a call from Bernard from L.A. asking me if I’m still interested in purchasing his brand new, still sealed, Origins Aggressive kit. His kit was for a Kouki S14. Having a Zenki, I asked if he was willing to part it out for only the sideskirts and rear bumper. He gave me a deal I could not pass. So Viv and I went straight to L.A. right after Pacific Beach. We met him and his girl at his work. His girl has a pretty clean Zenki S14.

When Bernard got the kit out we had a delima. That kit is really aggressive!! Origin doesn’t call it aggressive for no reason. How the hell were we gonna fit a huge aggressive kit into a small Corrolla??Easy, you get creative and stuff things in. It’s how we roll right? Hah, I remember fitting all kinds of stuff in my car. It’s the life of a driver. We somehow got that huge rear bumper in. One end was sticking outside the window, while the side skirts were sitting on top of it. We had to do some rearranging with the seats and Viv had to sit behind me trying to hold the piece of the bumper sticking out in place.

It was a mess but we got everything in. I cruised back to San Diego at 55mph cuz I didn’t want the end piece of the bumper snapping from the wind since it was in a position where it could not move but the wind was trying to push it around. And now we just made it back home. What time is it right now? 1:50am?? Crazy!!! For some reason, I took a lot of pics with my phone but it did not save. Sucks!!! If you saw those pics, you’d probably trip out seein how we packed the Corrolla.  I’ll take pics of the kit tomorrow. Hopefully it saves.  Good night ya’ll.

There has been a lot of debate after UFC 100 concerning Brock Lesnar as a UFC contender, champion and his post fight antics. Everyone is saying that he was out of line, disrespectful, bad for the sport, and all that hoopla. But finally, FINALLY someone has common sense and can actually observe things instead of act on instinct like an animal and agree with other obnoxious fans (that are in denial). Thank you Dave Meltzer for writing this article:

Last month I logged to the Beast himself, HypeBeast and found that one of my all time favorite shoe is making it’s way back to the market. Which shoe could it be?? Well it’s the Air Jordan VI Infrared!!

I had an o.g. o.g. triple o.g. pair of these when I was in elementary school. I also have the V’s but I found these more comfortable, and as a lil homie back then, I thought I could jump higher and it help me beat the sixth graders in a game of ball during recess. These are due to release early of 2010.

So today, I was on the site again, and found these. For the peeps that don’t know, (and it’s all good don’t be shy) these are the infamous Space Jams aka XI’s. I always wanted to buy a pair of these, but instead I bought a pair of WWF tickets to watch Bret Hart. Opportunity cost, gotta love it. Good thing these come out this year in November cuz I wouldn’t know how I would buy both. Especially, I would like to get two pairs of each if I can since I will ball up in them as I do to all my Jordans except for my I’s cuz it’s all paten leather. Plus I need more pairs since my XIX’s are taking a beating. I guess we’ll see if  I come up on these, hopefully I can atleast get the VI’s.

Since I’ve been back in San Diego I found that I have a lot of free time. So I’ve been hittin up the gym again. It’s been a long time since I been at a gym or touched weights. My heavy weightlifting consisted of carrying all of my film and sociology books at school. So it’s been about four weeks and I feel that my strength and endurance is coming back. JRz told me about a half marathon that’s coming up, so I wanna condition for that. I figure since it’s been awhile since I really ran or worked out, a half marathon is a good start to get back into things. What I don’t like about going back to the gym are the people staring at you. I think it’s kinda gay and really uncomfortable. I’m not sure if it’s because the gym I go to is not the one I usually go to or that these clowns are insecure about themselves. Whatever it is, they need to mind they business or else they gonna get the biznaz of my foot up they ass! Say no to drugs kids.

Wow, the last post was from the NFL Draft. That’s a really long time. My bad ya’ll. Imma be updating this more often to those subscribers out there (Thanks Mike & Gonz!). I decided to post my FR decal since Mike did it too. Hah, we need to find a place to make these and it’ll be a wrap. Lots to write about, lots to catch up on, so please forgive me I’ll get crackin on this once again tomorrow.

Til then, what do you think about Jon Gosselin and his new chick? Playa!!! Hah!

Yea!!!! Day one of the draft has come and gone and I am satisfied with what we, San Francisco 49ers, got. Some picks like the Lions drafting Matthew Stafford was predictable but the Jets getting Mark Sanchez was like “Whoa.”  What I was nervous about was when Oakland went on the clock. Many thought they were going to pick up the best wide reciever, Michael Crabtree, but instead they select Darrious Heyward-Bey!!?? What the… You go Al Davis!! Handle that playa.

crabtreedraft

So, the best reciever slips three picks to lucky number ten. Ten? Oh that’s us, the 49ers!! And that was a no brainer. So now we have the best reciever in the 2009 class in Michael Crabtree! The Raiders can have Heyward-Bey, who they felt had the fastest 40 time. Hah hah hah,  so it’s all good, the Raiders will not also have the fastest reciever but the fast times in getting dun up in the 2009 season like their previous ones. Once we drafted Crabtree I quickly called Gabe and Shandon who also are loyal Niner fans. I think the Niners are doing something right and are goin in a good direction.

crabtreedraft_02

What the Niners are doing wrong is seen in the picture above. The jersey’s. What were they thinkin?? I know we had our glory days in the 80’s but we need to get past that and create a new dynasty of players and coaches. We have talent but we need to direct them to victory and these jerseys are not it. Hah. There was nothing wrong with the previous jerseys. I like the type of red they used, gold and black which distinguished them as the Niners. Now we have a candy red and white color scheme. The collar logo which had the SF emblem is now replaced by the 49ers text, the numbers have no out lining on it and the sleves do not have the the Niners logo on it. It seems like we traveled to the past and got the old jeresy’s that Montana and Clark used to wear and brought them into 2009. And to top it off the helmet face mask is now back to gay, oops i mean grey. Argh!! Whatever this better help us out in winning games if that’s what they are going for since it has some “tradition” into the uniforms. What do you think? Wack! Well, atleast we have Crabtree.

So last night was a pretty fun and interesting night. First Eric and I head over to Fremont to pick up his soon to be 46″ lcd tv from a guy he contacted from craigslist. Before we go on our road trip, Eric confirms that everything is all good with the deal and he lets the seller know we’re on our way. Right when we get to this guys’ place, he tells Eric, “Oh I am sorry, I have sold the TV to another Eric.” What the hell!!! That is too much of a coincidence in my opinion. All that driving for nothing. Homeboys’ lucky he had a daughter…cuz if he didn’t, we’d f’ him up. Hah. To alleviate the pain we go get boba at San Jose State. I had the almond milk tea and it was the bomb!

As we get back to Santa Cruz, I started to get my film project going. Eric, Michelle, Tiffuny, and Jaime help me work on my project and we quickly gather our thoughts and ideas. I orginally had an idea, but it kept evolving and evolving. Good thing cuz that idea was a little mediocre since I wasn’t too sure on how and what I wanted shot.

So in a nutshell my photo narrative is a hero in search of a missing woman. He finds her in a studio tied up. Before he can rescue her he is confronted by the man who took this woman away and they fight to the finish. Does it sound heroic enough, jk. As the Hero provails, he rescues the woman but come to find out the woman was setting the Hero up from the beginning. As she finds the perfect opportunity she pulls out her blade and stabs the Hero to death. The End. Tah Dah!!!! Shooting wrapped up at 3am and I still had other work to do. Basically I finished all my work around 7:25 am. I tried taking a nap and that did not work and it is now 10:25 am and I got class soon. It was all worth it. Thanks guys and thanks Eric for letting us trash you’re place. Hah sike, hit me up before you leave to SD and I’ll help you clean up!!! Well enjoy these test shots!
